Adriana Cisneros sees conditions for $1 billion in Venezuela investment

Conditions are in place to channel $1 billion in investment into Venezuela within a year, according to executive Adriana Cisneros, as reported by El Nacional during the Startup Venezuela Summit 2026.

During the event, the spokesperson announced that the Intrépida fund has raised more than $600 million aimed at financing projects that combine technology and infrastructure in the country, according to the same source.

The business gathering brought together a range of players from the innovation and banking ecosystem, including local commercial initiatives, in a context where corporate financing seeks to expand its operations on a smaller scale, given the traditional liquidity constraints of the national economy.

These capital projections contrast with smaller earlier deals in the local startup sector, such as the $1 million raise recently recorded by the firm Fina, according to El Estímulo, reflecting the gap in scale between the targets of large funds and the reality of initial funding flows.
