Avior to connect Barcelona with Miami from November
Avior Airlines will launch nonstop flights between Barcelona, in Anzoátegui state, and Miami starting November 20, 2026.

Avior Airlines will launch nonstop flights between Barcelona, in Anzoátegui state, and Miami starting November 20, 2026, Banca y Negocios reported. The airline will offer three weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to connect eastern Venezuela with the United States.
The itineraries call for departures from Miami in the morning and returns from José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport in the afternoon. The route will be operated with Boeing 737 aircraft from Eastern Air Express, which allows the expansion of international air transport capacity from the eastern region.
44% of international flights in the country depart from airports in the interior, according to data from the Asociación de Líneas Aéreas en Venezuela (ALAV) reported by El Nacional. The figure reflects a process of decentralization in Venezuela's airport infrastructure, where regional terminals have increased their direct connections abroad.
The opening of this route offers a direct travel option for passengers in Anzoátegui and neighboring states, avoiding the trip to the central part of the country to catch international flights. This simplifies transport logistics and boosts passenger traffic in eastern Venezuela.
