Farmatodo raises $429,000 through its Digital Donation Button

Farmatodo raised $429,983.34 through its self-payment tool known as the Digital Donation Button between June 29 and September 28, 2026, according to the digital outlet 2001online.com. The pharmacy chain detailed the results of this solidarity initiative, aimed at providing humanitarian aid after the earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.

The Unidos por Venezuela program channels these voluntary contributions in partnership with the Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad to assist the areas hardest hit, mainly La Guaira and Caracas. The company said, according to the same source, that 98% of its stores remained operational during the emergency to ensure access to medicines and essential products for the affected population.

The funds raised will be allocated to three specific projects aimed at social recovery. Fe y Alegría will receive $260,000 to rehabilitate four schools in Catia, La Guaira, El Junquito and Petare, while Cáritas de Venezuela will manage $150,000 for medical care, and $15,000 will go to the Hospital Ortopédico Infantil.

The company confirmed that the digital tool will remain active in the coming months, rotating among charitable causes and allied organizations, including Senos Ayuda, Funcamama and the Sociedad Anticancerosa de Venezuela. Continuing these fundraising mechanisms seeks to sustain community support in the face of prolonged vulnerability.
