Belize expands marine reserves to 30% and meets Blue Bond commitments

Belize's Cabinet made official the protection of 30% of its offshore territorial waters, meeting the commitments set out in the restructuring of its "blue bond" (Blue Bond) worth $364 million, managed with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to reduce debt in exchange for marine conservation.
