Registration opens for the 2027 CAF Marathon

Registration for the eleventh edition of the CAF Marathon opens this October 16, 2026, according to the portal Descifrado. The race will be held on February 21, 2027, and will keep its two traditional distances under the motto Every step counts.

Large-scale sporting events of this kind mobilize the local economy through hotel occupancy, tourism and spending on transportation and food services, while also boosting the apparel and fitness equipment industry.

The race, organized by CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean), seeks to establish itself as a space for regional integration and urban development by promoting mass physical activity in Caracas.

Runners interested in taking part must complete the registration process on the official platforms set up by the organizers, taking into account the deadlines and the places available in each category.
