Italy and Venezuela to link Rome and Caracas from March 2027

A new direct commercial air route will connect Rome and Caracas starting March 30, 2027.

The formal launch of the connection was confirmed at the TTG Travel Experience international trade fair, held in Rimini, Italy, following a meeting between Tourism Minister Daniella Cabello and ITA Airways President Sandro Pappalardo.

Direct flights between capital cities function as a logistics channel for passenger mobility and a reduction in travel times, a key factor in the consolidation of business travel and the management of cross-border operations.

For its part, the ITA Airways president projected that the route will record high passenger occupancy and serve as a catalyst for companies in both countries to internationalize and project their investments.
