Pedro Sánchez's interview on La Revuelta shatters audience records

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez broke television audience records with his appearance on the program La Revuelta on La 1, according to El Mundo. The broadcast averaged 4,387,000 viewers and a 33.9% audience share, peaking at 40.4% at the end of the segment, according to data released by the research firm Dos30.

The interview lasted one hour and 43 minutes and maintained an upward trend in viewership. The program opened with a 24.1% share and closed with 40.2%, while the moment of greatest audience in terms of viewers came at 10:59 p.m., with 4,761,000 people tuned in to the public broadcaster, the outlet reported.

The format had a particularly strong impact among younger audiences and the youngest segment, a key group for general-interest channels. Among viewers aged 25 to 44, the audience share reached 51.1%, and among those aged 13 to 24 it stood at 48.7%, according to the report cited by El Mundo.

The result surpassed previous records for prominent guests on entertainment programs in Spain. Santiago Abascal's appearance in 2019 reached 23.5%, and Isabel Díaz Ayuso's in 2021 reached 23.2%, according to data compiled by the outlet.
