LatinPagos processes more than $120 million a month in Venezuela

LatinPagos reached a transaction volume of more than $120 million a month and a network of more than 35,000 active merchants in the country, according to the specialized portal Banca y Negocios.

The technology platform, led by Rodrigo Nogueroles, has built a transaction architecture that integrates point-of-sale systems, multicurrency payments and bank reconciliation to overcome operational frictions in domestic commerce. With more than 42,000 terminals deployed across the territory, the network has diversified its operating model toward a multibank structure.

The company's growth reflects its presence in high-traffic sectors such as the Caracas Metro, the parking facilities of the Sambil shopping center and the vending machines at Maiquetía Airport. According to data published by the outlet, the network processes more than $115 million a month through cards, supplemented by up to $10 million more through mobile channels and QR codes.

For the coming year, the company plans to reach 70,000 installed points and to exceed 50,000 active establishments, which would raise processing volume to $180 million a month through the expansion of its corporate and financial services.
