PDVSA revenue rises 76% through August 2026
Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) booked export revenue of $17.2 billion by the end of the second four-month period of 2026, a 76% increase over the same period of 2025.

Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) booked export revenue of $17.2 billion by the end of the second four-month period of 2026, a 76% increase over the same period of 2025, according to the outlet Bitácora Económica.
The rebound in revenue is driven mainly by oil price movements and by export volumes during the first eight months of the year.
However, the commercial activity of the domestic oil industry faces recent logistical challenges that limit the expansion of operations. Transport costs, a decisive component of the final delivered price of crude, have doubled, complicating negotiations for spot sales with international buyers.
For the export sector, the trend in these logistics costs and their impact on the placement of cargoes will determine whether the revenue earned in the first four-month periods of the year can be sustained.
