Mexico's Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) presented the guidelines for the 2027 budget, projecting a reduction in the fiscal deficit to 3.1% of GDP.

Fiscal consolidation was achieved through greater efficiency in tax collection from large corporate taxpayers, ensuring the continuity of universal social pension programs for older adults and construction works on the Maya Train.
