A total of 352 Venezuelans returned to the country on Wednesday, October 1, 2026, through the Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria, according to the Ministry of the People's Power for Communication and Information (MIPPCI).
The citizens arrived at the International Airport of the city of Barcelona, in Anzoátegui state, aboard flights 174 and 175 of the government program. On arrival, they received medical care and went through the usual immigration checks before being transported to their homes.
The National Executive's program seeks to encourage family reunification and create development opportunities for citizens who chose to return home. The air transport centralizes the logistics of the return to specific points across national territory.
The arrival of these nationals poses challenges for reintegration into the domestic labor market and local services, in a context where economic stability and the capacity to absorb formal employment are decisive for long-term retention.
