Revolut eyes Wall Street as its main listing market

Revolut is looking to Wall Street for a possible stock market flotation that would not happen before 2028, Bloomberg Línea reported on October 9, 2026, via its Instagram account. Nik Storonsky, CEO of the digital bank, said the high liquidity of the U.S. market makes it attractive for the United States to become its main listing market.

An initial public offering (the process through which a private company offers its shares to the general public for the first time in order to raise capital) requires compliance with strict securities regulations. In the case of financial technology companies, or fintechs, listing in the United States seeks to attract large-scale institutional investors and compete head-to-head with traditional banks.

At the same time, the company is preparing to expand in the United States after obtaining conditional banking authorization, a preliminary permit that allows it to advance its regulated financial operations before receiving a final license. With this approval, the firm plans to offer new products such as credit cards and loans to local users.

This growth strategy seeks to consolidate its presence in a market dominated by large financial conglomerates, expanding its customer base beyond Europe and diversifying its revenue sources through direct credit services.
