Domestic bitcoin use in El Salvador falls to 5.8% as foreign crypto licenses are approved

The National Digital Assets Commission (CNAD) granted operating licenses to three new private international transaction platforms.

However, a survey by the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador (BCR) found that only 5.8% of Salvadorans actively use cryptocurrencies to make daily food purchases.
